Scherer, Alice

Alice Scherer was born in Sinsheim on November 12, 1913.

Her parents were the master baker Moritz Scherer  (1878 - 1965) from Sinsheim and his wife Anna née Dreifuß (1880 - 1916) from Kuppenheim.

Alice remained single. She lived in Sinsheim. She moved to Colmar in 1935 and later to Paris.

In 1940 she was arrested and taken to the Camp de Gurs.

In 1942 she was moved to the  Drancy internment camp. On August 10, 1942 she was deported to the Auschwitz extermination camp and murdered.
