Weil, Nannette née Wertheimer

Mina Nannette Wertheimer was born in Freudental on December 4, 1868.

Her parents were the cattle dealer Abraham Löb Wertheimer (1826 - 1911) from Freudental and his wife Pauline née Stern (1839 - 1909) from Sontheim.

Nannette was married in Weiler on August 14, 1890. Her husband was the cattle dealer Gustav Weil (1864 - 1915) from Weiler. The couple moved to Sinsheim in 1893.

They had treee children, Julius (1892 - 1917), Hilde (1894 - 1943) and Siegfried (1898 - 1899).

In 1938 Nannette fled to The Hague, where her daughter Hilde and her husband David van Hessen (1881 - 1943) had lived since 1919. 

In 1943 Nanette was taken to the Westerbork transit camp and soon afterwards deported to the Sobibor extermination camp

Here she was murdered on May 21, 1943.
