Mathilde Lichtenstein née Scherer

Mathilde Scherer was born in Sinsheim on January 17, 1907.

Her parents were the merchant Max Scherer (1873 - 1947) from Sinsheim and his wife Bertha née Kaufmann (1882 - 1959) from Ladenburg.

Mathilde married on May 8, 1928 in Sinsheim. Her husband was Karl Michael Lichtenstein (1899 - 1957) from Selters.

The couple had one son, Werner (*1931).

The family escaped to the USA in 1936.

After her first husband's death Mathilde married the widowed merchant Siegfried (Fred) Seller (1899 - 1972) from Gunzenhausen.

Mathilde died in Cleveland OH on June 19, 1981.
