Saly (Louis) Wolf

Saly Wolf was born in Neidenstein on April 29, 1902.

His parents were Bernhard Wolf (1867 - 1938) from Neidenstein and his wife Emma Weißenburger (1872 - 1954) from Gemmingen.

Saly Wolf married Hildegard Adler (1912 - 1987) from Sinsheim on August 21, 1935.

Saly fled in June 1938 to New York, where he changed his name to Louis, because Sally is a common female name in America.

The couple had two children, Bernard (1942) and Willam (1947 - 1986).

Louis Wolf died in Toronto on April 6, 1999.
